Final Patch – sure… February 15, 2007

Posted by Michael McVey in Online Tools.

hrothgar   A few weeks ago, I admitted that I was one of the Early Adopters (Rogers, 1962) and installed Windows Vista on my machine. Slowly patches have been released for my video drivers, my audio drivers, and now, finally, my Naturally Speaking software. Just as my typing fingers were to cramping up.

Interestingly, the Naturally Speaking patch is almost a gigabyte in size. Why that’s almost larger than the original program. I don’t know who dropped the ball here but I thought, at the very least, I should update the blog by writing an entry while the patch was downloading.

By the by, I came across a great technical support video yesterday. The spoken language is Norwegian (thank goodness for my brief interest in learning to “snakker pa norsk” back in 1976. The subtitles are in Danish but there are supertitles in English. Enjoy.
