New Tool: Wayfaring March 19, 2006

wayfaring Perhaps once a week, I should share with this blog any new online tools and toys I have discovered during the course of the week. Today seems as good a day as any to begin this sharing.

Today I discovered wayfaring.com. This map-making software will allow you to trace routes you have taken in your life, plot maps to special events and locations, and highlight your travels through the world.

I created a few maps showing travels that I have taken over the past few years. Of course, those were just to learn the tool. The next step was to have fun with the tool and push the limits of it then see how it would be applicable to a classroom. There are also coding tools that will allow you to take the code for your map and insert it into your blog.
